"Understanding and Working
with People in Poverty "

This workshop utilizes an interactive approach to assist participants in developing a deeper understanding of what it means to be poor in today’s society. Participants will learn how to identify generational versus situational poverty and develop strategies that will help them work successfully with clients who are living in poverty. Participants will also explore personal biases that may exist that inhibit successful contacts with those in poverty.

$20 for Extension Employees
